Pipe Major (Leader) and Chairman of the Band

I am responsible for training/tuition, musical arrangements, practices/rehearsals and performances.

Paul Stubbs

Drum Major , Secretary and Treasurer of the Band.

He is responsible for all administration and financial records of the Band.

ABOUT US

The Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band is open to all who wish to learn and play bagpipe and drums or related instruments and who wish to preserve and develop the tradition of Irish pipe band music.

Tuition is free of charge and trainees are accepted from the age of 11 years old and upwards.

Trainee membership is open to all regardless of gender, faith or ethnic origin.

What unites Band members past and present is learning and playing music, performing and entertaining, forming life long friendships and having a huge amount of fun along the way.

Our ethos is one of “Ceoil agus Craic” – great music and great company!

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

The Fianna Phadraig Pipe Band is very committed to being involved in our local community, our city and our wider region. We are committed to representing Irish Manchester to the best of our ability and fostering good relationships between communities.

The Band is well known for supporting other community groups, both Irish community groups and non-Irish community groups, in their fund raising efforts.
